The promotion campaign is the event’s official mobile telecom sponsor, which will be held under the theme “Everyone’s Olympic Games.”
According to Korea Herald, Samsung also began the process of selecting the runners for the torch relay. Samsung Electronics plans to select young people from around the world who have moving personal histories.
Samsung said that it is sponsoring the torch relay and it will select 1,360 of the 8,000 runners who will bear the torch on a 70-day trip around the United Kingdom after the torch arrives from Greece on May 18, 2012.
