IITians from India again showed that IIT really produces elite and smart students in the world. IIT is known all over the world for the quality of its students in engineering and science & technology. It is one of the best technological institutes in India.
Graduates from IIT have acquired big and responsible position in various giant organizations all over the world.
One more such example was set when Google announced to replace Andy Rubin by an IITian Sundar Pichai from India. From now on, he will lead Google’s Android department, even though he is also the head of chrome division of Google.
Pichai is a B. tech graduate from IIT Kharagpur and he has served at Google for the past nine years. Google acquired many smart Indians who are also from IIT in prominent position. Among them are Nikesh Arora who is the chief business officer of the company, Amit Singhal, the head of Google’s search operations, Vic Gundotra who leads google+, a social and networking site of company.
The Google CEO said that he required a person with strong leadership skills for this position to handle Android division of Google, so he decided to choose Pichai for this responsible job.
