The firm disclosed this news, saying that Android 4.4 has been named as “KitKat.”
Before the name was indicated to be Key Lime Pie but the firm said that the name was not quite familiar with the people all around the world and so it was decided to give it the most suitable name and was chosen to be the KitKat, which is one of the most loved chocolate wafers.
It was also stated by the two partners that there has been no such financial deal being done between them.
This idea is considered as the most appreciable step and is getting support by many reviews on social networking websites and is awaited by many users.
The previous versions were named as cupcake, donut, éclair, froyo, gingerbread, honeycomb, ice cream sandwich and the latest Jelly Bean in the order of their launch.
Apart from this, it was found that there could be some problem with this partnership onto the reputation of both the big firms. If any one of the firms loses its status in the market, it would affect the other partner. So the deal is quite risky as stated by the branding expert of Android global.
According to the reports provided, Nestle came into the agreement within a day and considered it as an important step.
The marketing chief of Nestle said that he was ready at that instant itself to get into this partnership with mascot of OS. He added that it would be fun and is looking forward for the launch.
Tech loving crowd is also excited about this launch.
