SEOUL -- Big Hit will roll out BTS' digital single "Take Two" prior to the seven-member band's 10th debut anniversary. All members participated in the song including two members currently fulfilling their compulsory military service -- J-Hope and Jin. The group debuted on June 13, 2013.

The new single will be released at 1 p.m. (0400 GMT) on May 31, Big Hit said through its social media platform Weverse. The agency added: "We sincerely express our gratitude to ARMY for making the 10th anniversary possible with your endless love for BTS, and we hope that 'Take Two' will become a precious 'Gift' from BTS to you all."

Bit Hit will also interact with fans through "2023 BTS FESTA," a festival to celebrate the group's 10th debut anniversary, in June. The festival, set to take place at different attractions in Seoul including Digital Plaza (DDP) and Seoul Tower, would showcase various content from June 12 to June 25. The main events such as fireworks will happen on June 17 at a river park in Yeouido, an area near central Seoul where the National Assembly building is located.

BTS has topped Billboard's top 100 popular song chart with six songs over the past 10 years. In November 2022, the group's disco pop single Dynamite became the first K-pop song that was streamed from the Moon to Earth using an experimental wireless space internet service after the launch of the Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter (KPLO), the first lunar orbiter in South Korea. Although members are required to do their mandatory military service, they would be allowed to take part in limited group activities such as concerts outside barracks if top commanders make an exceptional judgment that their reunion will promote national interest.
