With a special focus on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the design industry, the festival, hosted by the Seoul Design Foundation, is expected to attract a horde of artists, designers, and industry workers as it showcases a diverse array of exhibitions and other programs.
Visitors can explore innovative artworks and crafts created by both domestic and international artists and designers.
The festival also offers various interactive programs with hands-on experiences. Additionally, there will be lectures by K-pop specialists, writers, and other professionals, including Kim Nan-do, a professor at Seoul National University.
"The festival is expected to highlight Seoul as a global design hub and provide insight into how the design industry will be transformed through the integration of AI," said a foundation official.
The 10-day festival runs until Oct. 27.
