On September 22, Umi Construction announced that it was chosen as a project participant following a community-wide meeting, with a total project cost of approximately 196.7 billion won.
The project site covers an area of 18,904 square meters and will include a total of 551 housing units, comprising 428 public sale units, 56 profit-sharing units, and 67 public rental units. Construction is set to begin in the second half of next year, with a target completion date in 2032.
This project was designated as an urban public housing complex in December 2023 and has undergone a design competition and integrated review process. Approval for the complex project plan was granted by the Seoul city government on December 26 of last year.
All units will be oriented to the south, and the number of flat-type units has been increased to 154. A four-bay design will be applied to the 59-square-meter units.
The complex will feature 4,962 square meters of landscaping, six themed gardens, walking paths, and community facilities such as a sky lounge and fitness center. Plans are also in place to create a book community in collaboration with the nearby Myeonmok-dong Library.
