Baemin, operated by Woowa Brothers, announced on November 5 that it is continuing its collaborative efforts with local festivals across the country to revitalize local economies.

From June to October, Baemin partnered with local governments to participate in various events, including the Gyeongsan Cafe Festival, the National Excellent Market Expo in Gongju, and the Han River Drone Light Show and Ballet Festival in Seoul.

At the Gyeongsan Cafe Festival held in June, Baemin set up a promotional booth featuring the Shinbi peach and local cafes, offering discount coupons to attract visitors. The event drew approximately 24,000 attendees, and Baemin's B-Mart hosted a week-long promotional event for Shinbi peaches, selling a total of 5.6 tons and helping local farmers expand their market access.

In September and October, Baemin participated in the Han River Drone Light Show organized by the Seoul city government, operating a booth for its local restaurant curation service, 'Mint Star,' along with a food truck. The two events attracted over 60,000 visitors, and an online coupon promotion led to a 30% increase in delivery orders in the Jayang-dong area compared to the same day of the previous week.

Baemin also took part in the National Excellent Market Expo held in Gongju in October, showcasing traditional market meal kits and offering free tteokbokki tastings, which attracted around 10,000 visitors. Additionally, at the Seoul Ballet Festival that same month, Baemin operated a pickup booth in collaboration with Daily Fix at the Rose Shopping Center, promoting local eateries in the Songpa district.

A Baemin representative stated, “The platform's collaboration with local festivals has created synergy, empowering small businesses. We will continue to engage in activities that support the growth of small businesses and local economies.”

Meanwhile, Baemin has been working to support local small businesses by running promotions that link local festivals with pickup services in partnership with Andong City since September.
