Lydia Ko, a South Korean-born New Zealander who won the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic golf tournament on Sunday in Daly City, Calif., moved up two notches to second place in the world women’s rankings released on Tuesday.

Ko, 17, won the tournament after shooting a 3-under-par 69 to finish at 12-under-par, one stroke ahead of Stacy Lewis of the United States.

Park In-bee of South Korea retained the top spot for the 55th consecutive week this week.

Lewis remained at No. 3, while Suzann Pettersen of Norway, who has suffered injuries, moved down two notches to fourth place.

Ryu So-yeon placed seventh to become another South Korean to join the world’s top 10 female professional golfers.
