Asiana, Air Astana to expand code-share

Asiana Airlines has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Kazakhstan's Air Astana to expand a bilateral code-share agreement, Asiana said on Friday.

The signing took place in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, between Asiana CEO Kim Soo-cheon and Air Astana President Peter Foster on the sidelines of a South Korea-Kazakhstan business forum.

Asiana and Air Astana currently operates two and three weekly flights on the Incheon International Airport-Almaty International Airport route, respectively.
