Lydia Ko retains No. 1 spot in women's golf rankings for 4 straight weeks

South Korea-born New Zealander Lydia Ko, who clinched her first victory of the season at the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open on Feb. 22, retained her top spot in the women's world golf rankings for four straight weeks.

Ko topped the list with a score of 10.56, ahead of 9.23 scored by Park In-bee of South Korea, who skipped the Handa Women's Australian Open.

Stacy Lewis of the United States and Feng Shanshan of China retained their No. 3 and No. 4 positions, respectively; while Korean-American Michelle Wie moved up to fifth place, edging out Suzann Pettersen of Norway.

Ryu So-yeon and Kim Hyo-joo, both of South Korea, ranked seventh and eighth, respectively; whereas Karrie Webb of Australia came in ninth, and Lexi Thompson of the United States, 10th.  

Amy Yang of South Korea, who finished two strokes behind Lydia Ko in second place at the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open, climbed five notches to 16th place.
