Ryu So-yeon moved up two notches to sixth place in the women's world golf rankings released on Monday (local time) as she won her first European Tour title in Hainan, China, a day earlier.

The South Korean, who captured the World Ladies Championship title Sunday, earned a score of 5.61, less than 5.64 scored by No. 5-ranked Suzann Pettersen of Norway.

Ryu's compatriot, Park In-bee, who finished second in the World Ladies Championship, narrowed the gap with No. 1-ranked Lydia Ko, a South Korea-born New Zealander. Park scored 10.10 points, less than 10.90 won by Ko.

Stacy Lewis of the United States and Feng Shanshan of China retained their Nos. 3 and 4 positions with 8.89 and 6.07 points, respectively.
