Austrian Royal dishes at Cafe Residenz

There are on-site and nearby restaurants and cafes at Schloss Schonbrunn or Schonbrunn Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Austria.

Experienced travelers often advise not to eat at the touristic sites, but there is one exception at Schonbrunn Palace. The restaurant is called Cafe Residenz.

It serves imperial delicacies like Emperor Franz Joseph's favorite dish called Tafelspitz.

The restaurant is owned and operated by the Querfeld family who also owns historic Cafe Landtmann that was found in 1873.
