Japanese Police confirmed that they found nine dismembered bodies in an apartment that belonged to a 27-year-old Takashiro Shiraishi. The investigation was led to his apartment after a missing person's report was filed last week.

A brother of a 23-year-old woman living in Tokyo reported his sister missing. Police found a conversation the woman had with Shiraishi through Twitter and found a footage that shows the woman and Shiraishi walking together outside of a train station near her apartment.

According to their Twitter conversation, the young woman was looking a suicide partner because she was scared to die alone. Instead of dying together, Shiraishi killer her and dismembered her body in his apartment.

The authorities were horrified to find dismembered body parts of eight women and one man. The different decompositions of body parts suggested that Shiraishi killed people from late August to late October this year. The killer threw some body parts and kept some in coolers and other rooms of his apartment. Police recovered a toolbox and a saw that was used to dismember the victims.

The neighbors said they noticed strong stench from his apartment but no one notified the authorities. This news shook the nation as Japan is known for public safety.

None of the victims' identities are released to protect their family's privacy. Takashiro Shiraishi was reportedly a scout for the sex industry in the entertainment districts in Tokyo. He may have used his verbal skills sharpened from his job to lure the unsuspecting victims to his place and murdered them one by one during the two months period.

Another incident that shocked the nation July last year was a mass killing of 19. A 27-year-old employee of a care home for disabled attacked people at the facility and took 19 lives and injured over 20 people. His trial has not begun yet.
