SEOUL -- French Air Liquide SA, a major industrial gas supplier, has decided to expand production at its plant in South Korea's southern industrial city of Yeosu, provincial authorities said Tuesday.
The South Jeolla provincial government said the French company would build a new plant worth 157 billion won (146 million US dollars) by December 2019 to boost its annual production capacity of hydrogen and carbon monoxide. The investment plan was confirmed when provincial government officials visited French Air Liquide's head office in Paris, it said.
