SEOUL, April 16 (AJU PRESS) - After a hiatus of about seven years, singer G-Dragon will make a long-awaited comeback with a new album in the second half of 2024, the 35-year-old artist's agency said Tuesday.
Galaxy Corporation said in a press release on Tuesday that G-Dragon is gearing up to drop the new album in the latter half of this year. In the press release, the agency also said the celebrity had recently met with Frederic Malle, the founder of the renowned French perfume brand Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle, during his visit to South Korea. The perfume brand had previously collaborated with G-Dragon to release a fragrance product called "Musc Ravageur" also known as the "G-Dragon perfume."
The announcement was made about four months after a drug investigation involving G-Dragon. Following a series of tests that began in November 2023, police officially closed the case a month later, clearing G-Dragon of charges. When the investigation was called off, the artist revealed his plan to establish a foundation dedicated to raising awareness about drug abuse.
