Released last week, the collaborative song with American pop star Bruno Mars landed at No. 8 on the chart for the week ending this week, making it the highest-ranking song by a K-pop female artist.
The previous record was held by the quartet's "Ice Cream," a collaborative song with Selena Gomez, which reached No. 13 at the time of its release in 2020.
With the latest feat, Rosé became the fifth K-pop star to reach the top 10, following rapper Psy, who peaked at No. 2 with his global viral hit "Gangnam Style" in 2012, and K-pop juggernaut BTS, who took the top spots with songs like "Dynamite" and "Life Goes On" in 2020, along with band members Jimin and Jungkook, whose respective solo tracks reached No. 1 last year.
"APT." will be included in Rosé's upcoming album "Rosie," slated for release on Dec. 16.
