The court, which is gathering evidence to prepare for Yoon's impeachment trial, also requested him to submit the minutes of Cabinet meetings held before and after the botched martial law attempt.
Lee Jin, a court spokesperson, told reporters that the request was made electronically the previous day and sent by mail the following day. Yoon was also asked to submit a response outlining his plans for defense by next Tuesday.
But it remains unclear whether the requests have been delivered to Yoon.
The court's earlier attempts to deliver relevant documents related to the trial failed after security officials at his official residence or the presidential office refused to receive them.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson said the court's first hearing for the case, scheduled for Dec. 27, will be open to the public but will not be broadcast live to "prevent any possible disturbances."
