President Lee's Approval Rating at 59.1%, Slight Decline for Two Consecutive Weeks

President Lee Jae-myung's approval rating has shown a slight decline for the second consecutive week, according to a recent public opinion poll.

On June 1, Realmeter released a survey indicating that 59.1% of respondents rated President Lee's performance positively. In contrast, 36.8% expressed disapproval, while 4.2% were unsure.

The approval rating decreased by 0.2 percentage points from the previous week, while the disapproval rating increased by 0.7 percentage points.

The survey, commissioned by the Energy Economy Newspaper, was conducted from May 26 to May 29 among 2,008 eligible voters aged 18 and older across the country, utilizing a 100% automated response method. The margin of error is ±2.2 percentage points at a 95% confidence level, with a response rate of 4.8%.
