President Lee Holds First Virtual Meeting with Advisors from Italy

President Lee Jae-myung is set to hold a virtual meeting with his chief advisors on June 14 while in Italy, focusing on key national issues.

This marks the first time President Lee has conducted a chief advisor meeting via video conference during an overseas trip.

According to a statement from the Blue House, "President Lee emphasized that there should be no disruption in governance during his trip and immediately afterward."

The meeting will take place at 2 PM local time in Italy, which is 9 PM in Korea. Participants will include members of the delegation accompanying the president and domestic officials, who will report on issues from their respective offices.

The Political Affairs Office will report on the National Election Commission's investigation and plans for institutional improvements, while the Civil Affairs Office will address the launch of a joint investigation team regarding the shortage of ballots. The Economic Growth Office will provide updates on foreign exchange and financial market trends, as well as measures related to inflation.
