LG Electronics is set to launch two new models of its wireless vacuum cleaner, the 'Compact Tower.' The new models reduce the size of the charging dock by approximately 40% compared to the previous all-in-one tower, enhancing space efficiency.

According to LG Electronics, the new products maintain performance while significantly reducing the size of the tower, which features charging and automatic dust-emptying capabilities. The flagship model, the 'A7 Core+ Compact Tower,' boasts a maximum suction power of 220W. The tower is equipped with a compact 2.1L dust bin.

The model that also functions as a mop includes a large 450mL water tank, allowing for over 30 minutes of cleaning (up to 60 minutes in mop-only mode) on a single refill.

Hygiene management features have also been enhanced. The vacuum cleaner's main body includes a five-stage filtration system, while the dust bin in the tower has a three-stage barrier system to prevent fine dust emissions. Both the main filter and dust bin can be removed and washed with water.

With this launch, LG Electronics expands its wireless vacuum cleaner lineup to five models: A9 AI (premium), A7 Core+ (practical), and A5 (lightweight).

The new products will be sequentially available for purchase starting with the A7 model on the 17th through online brand shops and LG Best Shops. The retail prices are set at 990,000 won for the A7 Core+ Compact Tower and 790,000 won for the A5 Compact Tower.

The global wireless vacuum cleaner market continues to experience rapid growth. According to market research firm Business Research Insights, the worldwide market is projected to grow from $3.28 billion this year at an annual rate of 12.2%, reaching $9.25 billion by 2035.

Notably, over 65% of urban households worldwide prefer wireless vacuum cleaners due to their space-saving designs and multifunctional convenience, leading to a surge in demand for compact appliances.

Son Chang-woo, head of LG Electronics' Living Solutions Division, emphasized, "Based on a deep understanding of living spaces and lifestyles, we will offer more efficient and convenient customer experiences across various cleaning product lines, including wired, wireless, and robotic options."
