The Korea Small Business Agency (KOSME) will conduct free artificial intelligence (AI) training for employees of small businesses.
KOSME announced on July 1 that it has begun accepting applications for the "2026 Tomorrow's Growth Fund Training Program."
The program aims to enhance the job skills and personal development of employees enrolled in the Performance Compensation Fund.
This year's training will be available to 1,000 participants who are maintaining their Tomorrow's Growth Fund and Small Business Employee Savings Fund memberships. The application period runs until July 14.
The training curriculum has been designed to address the pressing needs of small businesses, focusing on "digital competency enhancement" and "creating safe workplaces." New courses include "AI Practical Training" and mandatory industrial safety and health training.
Participants will gain essential skills to immediately apply the latest technologies in their work, while small businesses can alleviate their educational and administrative burdens through this support.
Additionally, KOSME is also working to enhance the AI capabilities of its internal staff. The agency recently held an "In-House AI Transformation Challenge," selecting ten teams last month.
Cho Han-kyu, Director of Workforce Development at KOSME, stated, "We hope that this tailored training program will provide small business employees with opportunities to enhance their job skills and expand their personal development."
