Xiaomi has officially launched its new 'Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Series' in South Korea, with pre-orders available until August 24.

According to Xiaomi Korea on August 19, the new series includes the top model 'Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max' and the slimmer 'Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6.' The suggested retail prices are 1,690,000 won and 1,190,000 won, respectively.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max features bionic dual robot legs that can cross thresholds up to 6 cm high. It employs a three-tier expansion system and a height-adjustable retractable LiDAR sensor to minimize cleaning blind spots under corners and low furniture. With a suction power of up to 35,000 Pa, it can recognize over 280 types of objects and automatically adjust cleaning methods based on the type of dirt using AI recognition technology.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6, with a slim height of 90 mm, easily fits under low furniture. It has a suction power of up to 30,000 Pa and features a tangle-free dual-blade main brush. It also includes an automatic mop-lifting function when detecting carpets, a large 5,200 mAh battery, a 4L clean water tank, and an automatic dust-emptying system.

Both models can be remotely controlled via the 'Xiaomi Home' app and support voice control through Google Assistant.

Pre-orders are available through Coupang and Xiaomi's official online and offline stores, with both products offered at a 300,000 won discount. A live shopping event on Naver, featuring tech creator 'Itseob,' will take place at 7 PM on the first day of official sales, August 25.

A representative from Xiaomi Korea stated, "We have prepared these new robot vacuum models so that domestic consumers can experience differentiated technology at reasonable prices. We will also support customers with a three-year warranty on the main unit and a free replacement of new products within one year, ensuring they can enjoy the products with peace of mind."
