The EHS heat pump lineup utilizes air-source heat and electricity to significantly enhance energy efficiency compared to traditional fossil fuel boilers. The technology will be intuitively introduced through conceptual diagrams and graphics tailored to Jeju's residential environment.
The 'EHS All-in-One' system provides air cooling, underfloor heating, and hot water supply from a single outdoor unit. It maximizes efficiency with a heat recovery feature that recycles waste heat generated during cooling for hot water production, and it uses R32 eco-friendly refrigerant.
The 'EHS Heat Pump Boiler' achieves a heating energy efficiency (SCOP 4.9) approximately five times that of its power consumption. It incorporates anti-freeze heaters and high-efficiency compression technology to reliably supply hot water at 70°C even in temperatures as low as -15°C, and it can operate in heating mode at -25°C.
Both solutions support remote control via a touch display and the SmartThings app.
Samsung Electronics is validating its infrastructure for expanding domestic distribution by establishing a new production line at its Gwangju facility and conducting demonstrations at standalone homes in Jeju and the Samsung C&T Residential Research Institute in Yongin.
