The company recently invited 28 outstanding service talents from eight countries to South Korea for advanced mobility training and tours of key Hyundai Motor Group facilities, it announced on September 21.
Each year, Hyundai invites top talents from global industry-academia cooperation institutions for maintenance training. This year, 18 students and 10 instructors selected from industry-academia cooperation maintenance institutions in Nepal, India, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Turkey, Poland, and Singapore participated.
From September 14 to 16, participants received training at the Hyundai Motor Global Learning Center in Cheonan, covering the fundamentals of electric vehicles, battery systems, vehicle communication, charging systems, E-GMP, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
Following the training, they visited Hyundai Steel's Dangjin Steelworks, Hyundai Motor's Asan Plant, the Hyundai Motor Goyang High-Tech Center, and the Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang over two days starting September 17, to observe the process of turning molten steel into automobiles and experience vehicle maintenance and branding firsthand.
The students are expected to begin their work at Hyundai service centers in their home countries and contribute to improving the quality of Hyundai's maintenance services.
