NH Nonghyup Financial Group announced on September 27 that it is expanding its role in public interest finance by introducing five types of 'health-promoting financial products' that link customers' health practices to financial benefits.

In line with the government's focus on prevention and health management, NH Nonghyup Financial unveiled plans in March to launch health-promoting products across its group. Since then, its subsidiaries, including banking, life insurance, non-life insurance, capital, and savings banks, have successively introduced products that offer preferential interest rates or insurance premium discounts for activities such as quitting smoking, walking, health check-ups, and community service.

NH Nonghyup Non-Life Insurance's 'NH All Wonderful Correct Treatment Insurance' provides coverage for treatment costs related to major diseases such as cancer, brain disorders, heart conditions, and dementia, while offering discounts on premiums for participating in social activities like quitting smoking and blood donation. Since its launch in April, over 13,000 policies have been sold in just five months.

NH Savings Bank has reintroduced the 'NH FIC Correct Earth Regular Savings' account, which offers preferential interest rates of up to 6.0% for commitments to health management and eco-friendly pledges, with a limit of 800 accounts. NH Nonghyup Capital provides up to a 0.3 percentage point preferential interest rate for customers with auto loans who engage in walking, health check-ups, or quitting smoking.

The company has also launched products targeting the fitness and running trend. NH Nonghyup Life Insurance introduced the 'Exercise Care Insurance,' which covers injuries such as fractures or cartilage damage during exercise, while NH Nonghyup Bank unveiled the 'zgm Running Card' this month, offering discounts on beverages at convenience store CU and sports equipment tailored for runners.

Lee Chan-woo, Chairman of NH Nonghyup Financial Group, stated, "We will strengthen finance that supports customer health and enhances quality of life based on our nationwide sales network."
