The announcement came days after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang received the Korea Society's Van Fleet Award in New York for promoting U.S.-Korea ties.
SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won toasted Huang at the gala, saying Nvidia designs the brain and SK makes the memory.
"Robotics is going to be the next major sector here in Korea — this is a great opportunity for Korea to invest in artificial intelligence," Huang told reporters on June, arriving in Seoul.
AI Day Seoul 2026 will run from Nov. 9 to 10 at COEX, pairing a conference on physical AI, agentic AI and AI infrastructure with paid workshops from Nvidia's Deep Learning Institute.
Nvidia expects about 2,000 attendees, roughly double last year.
Twenty partners will take part, including Samsung Electronics, SK hynix, SK Telecom, LG Electronics, Naver Cloud and Hyundai Engineering & Construction, alongside Dell Technologies and Deloitte.
