The unit of SEVENTEEN, Jeonghan and Joshua, has kicked off the countdown to their comeback by previewing part of their new song.
On October 12, SEVENTEEN's agency announced that Jeonghan and Joshua surprised fans by posting a dance challenge video for their title track '12 o'clock' from their first mini album 'Dreamscape' on their official Instagram at midnight.
The 12-second video reveals a snippet of the new song and showcases their performance for the first time. '12 o'clock' is a dance-rock track that modernly reinterprets disco and funk styles, featuring the duo's unique, laid-back, and stylish vocals that captivate listeners.
The performance emphasizes smooth dance lines and a restrained maturity, incorporating intuitive and easy-to-follow movements, hinting at a global challenge trend.
Their first mini album 'Dreamscape' explores the theme of 'dreams' where fantasies bloom while asleep and ideals clash with reality, consisting of seven tracks. In addition to the title track '12 o'clock', the album includes a variety of genres such as the house track 'Like You', the dreamy electronic piano sound of 'Outside', the R&B and soul-based 'One Plus One', and the gritty electric guitar and bass-driven 'No Looking Back'.
Meanwhile, Jeonghan and Joshua will unveil a highlight medley of all tracks from the album on October 14, followed by official teasers on October 17 and 18. The full album 'Dreamscape' will be released on October 19 at 6 PM across various online music platforms.
