The UNICEF Korea Committee has introduced a chatbot called 'My Mind Guide' to support youth mental health, marking the first anniversary of its global partnership with the group Tomorrow X Together (TXT).

On October 10, World Mental Health Day, the UNICEF Korea Committee announced the launch of the chatbot on October 12.

'My Mind Guide' is an interactive digital tool designed to help teenagers understand and express their emotions and seek help from peers or professionals when needed.

Users can explore their feelings and learn stress management techniques through a step-by-step conversation. The chatbot covers four topics: 'Emotion Check-In,' 'Relationships 101,' 'Online Life Check,' and 'Balance Toolbox,' providing guidance on mental health management in various situations.

The chatbot is based on the HAT toolkit, a youth mental health promotion and prevention guideline developed jointly by the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF, and the UNICEF mental health framework. It also offers information on how to access professional counseling and support when needed.

Images and encouraging messages from Tomorrow X Together members are integrated throughout the chatbot. Upon completing the entire process, users will receive special messages and photos from the members.

Tomorrow X Together formed a global partnership with UNICEF on September 30, 2022, to promote mental health for children and adolescents worldwide. On April 29, 2023, they officially launched the global mental health campaign 'Together for Tomorrow.'

Since then, they have released video content titled 'Mind Together Secret Counseling Room' and a music playlist called 'Mind Together Playlist' to empathize with and comfort youth concerns.

The members stated, "It has been meaningful to share our message about youth mental health over the past year. We hope to encourage everyone to honestly reflect on their feelings and seek help, as anyone can face difficult moments."
