Porsche Korea announced the launch of the 'Cayenne Coupe Electric' on October 15, expanding its lineup of pure electric sports utility vehicles (SUVs).
The Cayenne Coupe Electric will be released in stages, starting with the top model, 'Cayenne Turbo Coupe Electric,' followed by the 'Cayenne S Coupe Electric' and the 'Cayenne Coupe Electric.'
The Cayenne Coupe Electric features a design distinct from existing SUV models, with a gently sloping roofline, a windscreen specifically designed for the coupe, and an adaptive rear spoiler that emphasizes its dynamic silhouette. It measures 4,985 mm in length and 1,980 mm in width, similar to existing SUV models, but stands 24 mm lower at 1,650 mm. The rear seats can be configured as either two individual seats or a 2+1 arrangement. The vehicle has a driving range of 530 km.
The top model, the Cayenne Turbo Coupe Electric, delivers a maximum output of 1,156 horsepower (PS) with overboost. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, with a top speed of 260 km/h. On a single charge, it can travel up to 473 km.
The domestic prices are set at 148.3 million won for the Cayenne Coupe Electric, 168.6 million won for the Cayenne S Electric, and starting at 192.4 million won for the Cayenne Turbo Electric.
Matthias Buse, CEO of Porsche Korea, stated, "By introducing the coupe model following the Cayenne electric SUV, we can offer Korean customers a broader range of choices. Based on the high preference for the Cayenne, we expect the new electric SUV lineup to play a significant role in driving Porsche's electrification growth in the Korean market."
