AllMyTour, a global bed bank solution company based on artificial intelligence (AI), participated in CEATEC 2026 held in Japan, showcasing its AI-based hotel autonomous operating system, Project Talos, while seeking local business collaboration opportunities.

Now in its 27th year, CEATEC is a comprehensive digital innovation exhibition hosted by the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA). The event took place from October 13 to 16 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, featuring 821 companies and organizations presenting industrial innovations utilizing advanced technologies like AI.

Despite an increase in inbound tourism, Japan is facing challenges in accommodation supply due to labor shortages and aging facilities. The Japan Research Institute forecasts that room occupancy rates in Tokyo and Osaka will reach 85% by 2027, nearing supply limits. Some regional hotels and ryokans are intentionally lowering occupancy rates due to staff shortages. The Japanese government also identified securing talent and improving productivity in the accommodation sector as key issues in its 2026 tourism white paper.

In response to the operational efficiency demands of the Japanese accommodation market, AllMyTour highlighted Project Talos. This system structures hotel and travel data using ontologies and knowledge graphs, allowing AI agents to autonomously assess and perform operational tasks. It features an 'edge agent' approach that integrates with existing hotel servers, enabling implementation without a complete system overhaul.

The core functionalities include: AI natural language search, AI rate management, customer data analysis, review analysis, voice housekeeping, and automated reconciliation. The AI natural language search allows guests to input their desired conditions in natural language, providing suitable rooms and rates in real-time while supporting 'one-tap booking.' This helps hotels increase direct bookings and reduce the burden of online travel agency (OTA) commissions, while also enhancing hotel visibility through generative AI search optimization (GEO).

AI rate management analyzes 24 months of booking data, competitor rates, and local events to determine optimal rates by date and room type, reducing the time required for this task from about 2 hours to just 5 minutes. Additionally, customer data analysis reduces the time to retrieve customer lists from 30 minutes to 10 seconds, while review analysis consolidates multilingual reviews and suggests follow-up actions. Voice housekeeping recognizes staff voice reports and assigns tasks based on urgency, and automated reconciliation matches OTA invoices with booking records, alleviating the burden of repetitive tasks across hotel operations.

During the event, local hotel and ryokan operators facing labor shortages expressed significant interest, particularly in automating back-office tasks like housekeeping and reconciliation.

AllMyTour discussed proof of concept (PoC) and local implementation plans for Project Talos with Japanese hotel groups. They also explored the possibility of 'multi-property integrated operation automation' to manage multiple hotels beyond individual units with various hotel management companies. Furthermore, they discussed mutual distribution strategies for accommodation products utilizing local travel agencies and the bed bank network.

AllMyTour plans to leverage this exhibition as a stepping stone to expand Project Talos into the Asian market. Starting in Japan, they aim to collaborate with local hotels in Vietnam and Singapore to establish proof of concept tailored to each country's operational environment. In the future, they envision Project Talos evolving into a 'hospitality AI platform' that encompasses everything from accommodation product distribution to hotel operations, linked to a global bed bank supply chain.

Seok Kyung-kyu, CEO of AllMyTour, stated, "As tourism demand rapidly increases, the role of AI-based automation technology in reducing repetitive tasks is crucial to address labor shortages and operational efficiency challenges in the accommodation sector. Through our participation in CEATEC 2026, we aim to solidify the applicability of Project Talos in the Japanese market and enhance our competitiveness in the Asian market by combining our accumulated accommodation distribution capabilities with AI-based hotel operation technology."
