DigitalX has conducted compliance training for all employees to prevent overpayments in digital assets and strengthen internal controls.

On October 21, DigitalX announced that it held its '2026 Second Half Compliance Training' under the auspices of its Risk Management Department.

The training focused on the importance of preventing high-risk transactions. High-risk transactions refer to those involving manual intervention by employees during processes such as airdrops, event rewards, inheritance, and erroneous transfers, which increases the likelihood of errors.

This training comes in response to the growing need for enhanced internal controls across the industry, following the Digital Asset Exchange Joint Council's (DAXA) incorporation of control procedures for high-risk transactions into its risk management best practices in July.

Key topics covered included processing procedures for various types of high-risk transactions, approval criteria for event rewards, reporting systems in case of incidents, and recent industry accident cases.

Particularly emphasized were measures to prevent asset overpayments and excessive payments, including the separation of management accounts, distinction between drafting and executing departments, and a phased approval process based on payment scale. The response system was also reviewed, covering initial actions such as blocking deposits and withdrawals and canceling erroneous transactions, as well as reporting to financial authorities and sharing information with DAXA.

Additionally, the training included fundamental compliance matters for employees, such as the Code of Ethical Conduct, the Virtual Asset User Protection Act, and the prohibition of insider trading.

O Se-jin, CEO of DigitalX, stated, "High-risk transactions are an area where a small mistake can directly impact customer assets and market trust. We will continuously enhance our internal control systems to ensure that employees strictly adhere to related procedures."
