AJP Factbox: Hanwha Aerospace Q3 operating profit drops 46%

Hanwha Aerospace reported third-quarter operating profit of 452 billion won, down 46.2 percent from a year earlier, as delayed K9 howitzer deliveries to Poland weighed on its land systems business. Revenue fell 6 percent to 6.09 trillion won.

Operating profit dropped 66.9 percent from the previous quarter, while the company swung to a consolidated net loss of 36.7 billion won from a profit of 699 billion won a year earlier. Stronger earnings at Hanwha Ocean and Hanwha Systems partially offset the decline.
