Hyundai Rotem is accelerating its efforts for co-growth with its partners by reinforcing its cooperative framework.
The company announced on November 6 that it held the '2026 Hyundai Rotem Partners Day' over two days in Seogwipo, Jeju. This event, which has been ongoing since 2005, serves as a platform to strengthen trust with key partners and discuss strategies for mutual growth.
During this year's event, Hyundai Rotem shared the results of collaborative efforts over the past year and explored ways to achieve co-growth with its partners. Previously, the company held sector-specific conferences across all business divisions to unveil strategies for promoting cooperative growth.
To facilitate smoother financing for its partners, Hyundai Rotem has more than doubled the size of its co-growth fund compared to last year. This fund allows for low-interest support for investment and operational funds using deposits made with financial institutions at the request of partners. This year, the fund has been set at a total of 150 billion won, with 105.9 billion won already allocated to 100 partners as of the third quarter.
Additionally, the company has supported global expansion alongside its partners in overseas projects. In the Queensland electric train supply project in Australia, it collaborated on mechanical installations, while in the Los Angeles Metro project in the U.S., it localized components to enter the overseas market together with its partners.
During the event, Hyundai Rotem also recognized ten companies that have established excellent cooperative relationships in areas such as procurement, quality, security, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.
Yoon Young-bae, President of Hyundai Rotem, stated, "The numerous challenges and achievements over the past year are all thanks to the hard work and dedication of our partner companies. We can only fulfill Hyundai Rotem's mission by growing together with our partners, and I hope we can continue to be strong allies as we have been in the past."
Meanwhile, Hyundai Rotem is expanding the scope of its cooperative efforts, focusing on financial support for partners and joint overseas ventures.
