Aussie singer Sia posted her nude photo on her Twitter and Instagram page on Monday night after finding out that someone was trying to sell her nude photos to her fans. The photo was taken from far away without her consent.
In the photo, Sia had her back to the camera and on a balcony. The photo she released is a screenshot of the "client preview" watermarked photo with the seller's offer. The message said, "If you make the purchase it will be unblurred and you will receive and additional 14 images."
Fortunately, none of her fans were scammed into this, but instead, they notified Sia of what was happening.
The 41-year-old singer posted her nude photo on social media and captioned it, "Someone is apparently trying to sell naked photos of me to my fans. Save your money, here it is for free. Everyday is Christmas."
After her posts, she started garnering outpouring support from her fellow celebrities who had experienced similar photo leaks and other who purely are applauding her for her courage.
Adele tweeted, "SIA I'M SCREAMING". Italian singer Chiara replied to Sia's post with a meme, "Oh, I love you so much." Nicki Minaj hollered up with a tweet, "SIAAAAAAAA".
Sia is an Australian singer-songwriter who produced global hits like Titanium, Wild Ones featuring Flo Rida, Chandelier, and more. She also wrote songs for the top singers like Celine Dion, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Rihanna and more.
Sia is known for her signature look of face covering wig. She started covering her face with a half white and a half black wig during performances and TV appearances for "a modicum of privacy".
Her Twitter post was liked over 540,000 times and was retweeted over 164,000 times.
