SEOUL, Jan. 11 (Aju News) -- Singer IU won the Grand Prize at the first day of the Golden Disc Awards, an annual two-day event, for her hit song "Through the Night", which was released in March last year.
The 24-year-old took home the grand award on Wednesday. She was one of the most successful K-pop artists of 2017. "Palette", the fourth official album released in April last year was streamed more than 100 million times, setting a new record.
"Through the Night", the album's title song, was downloaded more than three million times.
