The platform unveiled two titles that will spearhead its publishing efforts: “Love Too Easily 2” by Monster Guide Co. and “IfSunSets” by Polymorph Studios.
This move allows Stove Indie to directly support the distribution and marketing of promising indie games, while Smilegate gains a diverse publishing lineup.
“Love Too Easily 2” is a full-motion video (FMV) game featuring five actors from various media backgrounds, while “IfSunSets” is an adventure role-playing game (RPG) combining open-world and survival elements.
"We have entered the publishing business to establish an organic business model within the creative ecosystem in 2024 and to support the greater success of creators who have grown within the ecosystem," said Paek Young-hoon, head of Smilegate's Stove business.
Stove Indie plans to expand its publishing lineup with other high-quality indie games available on the platform. It will also continue to collaborate with the Seoul Business Agency to discover and support outstanding indie game developers based in Seoul.
