SEOUL, August 21 (AJU PRESS) - CJ CheilJedang will launch its Bibigo brand dumplings at New Zealand’s two major supermarket chains, the Korean food company said Wednesday.

Its Bibigo Homestyle Mandu Pork Dumplings and Pork & Kimchi Flavored Dumplings will be available in New World and Pak'nSave stores, starting with Auckland in early September.

These two products, already available in ethnic markets across Australia and New Zealand, will gradually expand to stores nationwide, leveraging the extensive network of over 200 outlets operated by the two chains.

Simultaneously, CJ CheilJedang is diversifying its product range in Australia's Costco stores, introducing CJ Protein Basak Chips and Bibigo Spring Rolls this month.

The company's Oceania business has shown robust growth, with food sales in the region increasing by 51 percent year-on-year in the second quarter.

"Following our success in Australia, we are pleased to introduce our globally popular Bibigo dumplings to New Zealand consumers," said Cha Yoo-jin, head of CJ CheilJedang's Oceania operations.

"We will continue to expand our presence in local distribution channels with a diverse range of K-food products that meet consumer demand."
