This change reduced document production by 88.9% (from 19,224 to 2,136 documents) and shortened the processing time from approximately 30 days to 22 days.
Progress updates for each step of the process are automatically communicated via KakaoTalk notifications, allowing applicants to track their status in real time. An AI chatbot, reflecting around 200 consultation scenarios, has also been established to enable the public to access information about laws and procedures related to the protection zone at any time.
