"I have been consistently buying lottery tickets since my early career days."
As interest grows in the winning numbers for the 336th Pension Lottery 720+ on October 8, the story of a winner from the 209th draw, who won first prize (1 ticket) and second prize (4 tickets), is drawing attention.
In a post on the Donghaeng Lottery winners' board, the winner of the 209th Pension Lottery 720+ stated, "I have been consistently purchasing lottery tickets since my early career days. As usual, I bought a few lotto, pension, and Spitto tickets."
The winner recounted, "After a dinner gathering on the weekend, I got home and remembered the lottery, so I checked my tickets. I didn’t win the lotto, but I was shocked to find I had won both the first and second prizes in the pension lottery. It felt like the effects of the alcohol had vanished. I couldn’t believe it and kept staring at the numbers, trying to figure out if it was an 8 or a 0."
As time passed and confidence in the win grew, the winner noted, "Strangely, I felt calm. The thought of suddenly having a large sum of money made me think of my younger brother, who has been struggling to live alone. I plan to inform him of my win and buy a house for us to live together. I also intend to donate to those in need and increase my contributions to help others. With retirement not far off and not having prepared adequately for my future, I am truly grateful for this unexpected fortune."
The winner, who purchased the lottery ticket at a store in Jongno-gu, Seoul, responded to a question about any memorable dreams, saying, "I haven’t had any dreams recently."
When asked about the types of lottery tickets they usually buy, the winner replied, "I consistently purchase lotto tickets, pension lottery tickets, and Spitto tickets."
Regarding plans for the winnings, the winner stated, "I plan to buy a house and increase my contributions."
Meanwhile, the winning numbers for the 336th Pension Lottery 720+ will be available after 7:05 PM today (October 8).
