For Netflix in South Korea, 2025 showed how rapidly the business has grown while most of its revenue continued to flow to its U.S. parent. Netflix Services Korea generated a record 1.054 trillion won ($787 million) in revenue, but 853.9 billion won, or 81 percent, was paid to the parent company. That left the Korean unit with 20.3 billion won in operating profit, equivalent to an operating margin of just 1.9 percent.
