All three South Korean mobile operators will begin Galaxy Note 4 sales, said Lee Don-joo, head of sales and marketing for the company, during the "Galaxy Note 4 World Tour 2014" event at its office in southern Seoul.
The newest device, a phablet, will hit stores in about 140 countries around the world by next month, with sales in China starting first, according to Samsung.
The move comes as Samsung's flagging mobile business tries to defend its sales against Apple Inc., which unveiled two new iPhones, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Sept. 9 (local time).
