K-pop quartet aespa's hit song gets remix from young producers

SEOUL, September 23 (AJP) -  A remix EP of K-pop girl band aespa's "Whiplash" featuring winning entries from a competition for emerging producers is set to be released on Wednesday, according to their agency SM Entertainment.

The EP, titled "ScreaM Rookies 2 : Whiplash (Remixes)," was produced by ScreaM Records, SM Entertainment's dance music label.

The tracks were selected from the second "ScreaM REMIX COMPETITION," which invited students from Seoul Institute of the Arts and Seoul Music High School to reinterpret the track.

The project is aimed at giving young producers a platform to release their work through ScreaM Records.
