Samsung Electronics unveils new AI-powered Galaxy wearables in Paris

SEOUL, July 11 (AJU PRESS) - Samsung Electronics unveiled three new wearable devices at the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event in Paris on Tuesday, expanding Galaxy AI capabilities to wearables and offering advanced health monitoring solutions.

The lineup includes the Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra.

The Galaxy Ring, Samsung's smallest wearable, provides 24/7 health tracking with a comfortable design and up to seven-day battery life. It focuses on sleep analysis and offers personalized insights through the Samsung Health app.

The Galaxy Watch7 features an improved BioActive Sensor for more accurate health data. It introduces the AGEs (advanced glycation end-product) Index measurement and FDA-approved Sleep Apnea Feature. The watch supports over 100 workout types and includes new functions like Workout Routine and Race.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra, designed for outdoor enthusiasts, boasts enhanced durability with a titanium frame and 10ATM water resistance. It offers specialized features for multi-sport activities and extended battery life.

All devices integrate Galaxy AI for personalized health management. The Galaxy Watch7 and Ultra are the first smartwatches to feature Android Wear OS 5.

The new wearables will be available globally from July 24, with pre-orders starting July 12 in select markets. Prices range from 349,000 won ($260) for the Galaxy Watch7 to 899,800 won ($670) for the Galaxy Watch Ultra, with the Galaxy Ring priced at 499,400 won ($370).
